성야무인님께서 장기 프로젝트의 일환으로 진행중인 태블릿 리뷰 두번째 기기로
중국 Ployer 사의 7인치 태블릿 Momo9 입니다.
2세대 가강판(加强版)이라고 명명된 모델인데 대체 무엇을 강화 시켰길래 "가강판"이라고
명명했을까요?
오늘은 세 번째로 기기의 동영상을 중심으로 및 기타 성능을 살펴 보겠습니다.
(1) Down Sizing
중국 저가 태블릿 대부분에서 다양한 이유로 화면에서 다운사이징의 현상(등고선/깍두기 현상)을
발견할 수 있습니다.
momo9의 바탕화면입니다.
이전의 PD10 보다는 다소 낫지만 역시나 등고선 현상이 발견됩니다.

(2) 샘플 동영상 테스트
이제 정지된 사진이 아닌 동영상을 직접 플레이시켜 등고선/깍두기 현상이 나타나는지 확인합니다.
플레이어는 MX Player를 사용하고 H/W 디코딩 조건입니다.
테스트 동영상은 소녀시대의 3분 18초 분량의 "Kissing You" 공연 영상으로 다양한 방식의 코덱과 포맷으로 이루어져 있습니다.

중앙 부분을 보시면 깍두기 현상이 전혀 나타나지 않습니다.
상기 동영상은 리뷰어에게 제공된 테스트용입니다.
결국 파일이나 코덱의 형식보다는 원본 동영상을 다양한 형식으로 인코딩할때의 손실율 등에 따라
깍두기 현상등이 나타나기도 하고 아니기도 합니다.
또한 다수의 720p의 영화와 동영상은 큰 무리 없이 재생이 가능하므로 결국 기기의 다운사이징은
그리 심하지 않다는 결론을 이끌어 낼 수 있습니다.
(3) 동영상 스트림
사진은 Everyon Tv 앱입니다.
다수의 케이블tv 채널을 스트림 방식으로 수신이 가능하며 끊김이나 딜레이 없이 정상적인 시청이 가능합니다.
pooq 입니다.
MBC, MBC Drama, MBC Everyone, MBC Music, SBS 모두 정상적인 시청이 가능합니다.
You Tube 역시 정상적으로 동작됩니다

(3) 게임
momo9의 2D 게임은 큰 문제 없이 대부분 잘 돌아갑니다.
Angry Bird, Plants vs Zombies, Where's my water, Cut the Rope 등은 모두 문제 없이 구동됩니다.
3D 게임의 경우 Samurai 2Vengeance, Hero of Sparta 등은 구동이 잘 되지만 GTA III는 설치가 아예 되지 않습니다.
그런데 ....심각한 문제가 발견 됩니다.
Splinter Cell 입니다.
게임의 배경이 전부 화이트로 표시되어 정상적인 플레이가 불가능 합니다.
아스팔트5 입니다.
초기 설정화면에서 조금 잘려져 나오지만 그리 큰 문제는 아닙니다만 더 큰 문제는.....
중력센서 이상인지 화면이 60도 정도 틀어져 출력되어 정상적인 플레이가 곤란합니다.
성야무인님께서 댓글에서 알려주신 팁대로 하니 정상 동작 되었습니다.
즉, 기기의 설정-디스플레이- Accelerometer coordinate system-Special coordinate system 으로 설정.
momo9은 800x480의 저가 LCD 패널을 채용한 기기이며 이에 맞추어 그리 고급스럽지 않은 화질입니다.
지난 리뷰에서도 잠깐 언급했지만 PD10 보다는 훨씬 만족스러우나 그래도 약간 푸른빛이 감도는
물빠진 색감을 보여줍니다만 전체적으로는 자연색에 가깝습니다.
어차피 저가 태블릿의 한계를 인정한다면 동영상 플레이어로서는 그리 불만족스럽지는 않을 것 같습니다.
이상으로 4월27일자 펌웨어 조건에서 3번에 걸쳐 리뷰를 하였습니다.
그러나 펌웨어 날짜별로 다양한 특색이 있다고 알려진바 , 다음 리뷰는 현재 까지의 최신 펌웨어인 6월7일자
펌웨어로 업글 후 세번의 리뷰에서 빠진 주요 앱의 동작성능과 함께 간단한 비교 리뷰를 작성해 보겠습니다.

사실 제가 게임은 그다지 하지 않는편이라 던전헌터는 돌려 보지 않았습니다.
아스팔트는 아무래도 중력센서 이상 같습니다.

아스팔트 (혹은 다른게임)의 경우
중력센서의 이상이 아니라 설정란에서 Accelerometer coordinate system을 special로 체크해주면 됩니다.
아마도 중력센서에 따라서 다르게 반응하는 게임이 있어서 이렇게 적용한듯 합니다.
AA13기기에 따라서는 이걸 고친게 있는데 그렇지 않은것도 있는데 그게 모모9 가강판 2세대입니다.

아뇨.. 안드로이드 OS 설정란에 들어가셔서 디스플레이 누르시면
Change Accelerometer coordinate system 이라는 메뉴가 있을겁니다.

저는 단순히 1080p 720p 재생만 돌려봐서 별 문제 없겠거니 했는데...해상도 다운스케일링이 분명 존재하는가 봅니다.
lcd 색감차도 꽤나 나나봅니다
제가 받은 기기는 리뷰에서 비교했듯이, 갤탭7과 비교해도 물빠진 파란빛깔은 아닌데....
